A Message of Condolence from the Ministry of Natural Resources
Today we are with you in thoughts and memories of our former colleague, Michael (Mike) Seguin.
Michael was an Ontario Ranger at Wade Lake near Cochrane in 2009. Being a Ranger is so much more than just a job; it’s a reflection of a very special kind of person. To be a Ranger is to turn caring into action and deeds. It’s an opportunity to give back to your community, to your province and to the natural environment which we all enjoy – and from which we all benefit.
It takes strong character, and great dedication and commitment.
Michael was the right man for the job.
He brought willingness, decency, and a generous spirit to the program. He was everything – and more – that we could ask of a Ranger and of a colleague.
Today we remember him well, and we extend to all of you whom Michael loved our deepest sorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
